FIC RAMJAS – AN OVERVIEW
Finance and Investment cell, Ramjas college welcomes batch of 2025/26. We are sure now, you must have stalked the social media handles of all the societies, followed a number of confession pages and might also be confused about how to make the most out of your college life or which societies to join!
We have been there too, which is why we would love to simplify this process for you by giving insights about us.
The finance and Investment cell, Ramjas college, is a perfect station for people from all over the departments; Economics, B.com., BA, statistics and many more- Our society and diversity go hand-in-hand. After all, a lot of things revolve around finance! Don’t they?
FIC, for its members, is more than just a society. Established in 2018 to promulgate financial literacy, since then we have been able to build a significant presence and reputation for ourselves. Our multi-department structure operates in tandem to ensure that our society thrives in all aspects while providing opportunities to its members.
Here, we offer a blend of opportunities in form of live mock stocks, case competitions, well-curated training sessions, writing research papers and a lot more. Monotonous, mechanical functioning is not our thing. FIC is about generating out-of-box ideas, gaining unforgettable exposure and meeting different minds. Every year, we conduct our annual fest Di-Valore traversing across finance, business knowledge, fun games and strategic plans. Apart from that, our annual financial literacy campaign provides us with a platform to get root-level insights into what finance is for different people and to educate them about the same. Investgrip is our own website handled by our team. We leverage it to conduct mock stock competitions, put forward our opinions on various economic issues and further maintain our monthly newsletter, again prepared by the team.
From organizing multiple events to hosting regular speaker sessions with eminent personalities, we have managed to live up to our reputation.
We have a knack for maintaining professionalism while not forgetting about fun activities all this time.
